Question 1

x-अक्ष के समान्तर इनके नीचे 3 इकाई की दूरी पर स्थित रेखा का समीकरण निकाले ।
[Find the equation of the line which is parallel to x-axis and at a distance of 3 units below the x-axis]
Sol :

y=-3 या y+3=0

Question 2

मूल बिंदु से गुजरती हुई x-अक्ष पर लम्ब रेखा का समीकरण निकाले ।
[Find the equation of the line perpendicular to x-axis and passing through the origin]
Sol :

Question 4

उस रेखा का समीकरण निकाले जो (5,3) से गुजरती है तथा क्रमशः x-अक्ष के समान्तर तथा इस पर लम्ब है ।
[Find the equations of the straight lines which pass through (5,3) and are respectively parallel and perpendicular to the x-axis]
Sol :

(i) y=3 

(ii) x=5

Question 6

उस रेखा का समीकरण निकाले जो x-अक्ष पर लम्ब है तथा बिंदु (-1,-1) से गुजरती है ।
[Find the equation of the line perpendicular to the axis and passing through the point (-1,-1)]
Sol :

x=-1

Question 7

उस रेखा का समीकरण निकाले जो x-अक्ष के समान्तर है तथा y-आक्ष पर -2 अन्तः खण्ड काटती है ।
[Find the equation of the line parallel to x-axis and having intercept -2 on y-axis]
Sol :

y=-2

y+2=0
